Atomic and molecular physics employing free-electron laser light

Free-Electron Lasers are next-generation light sources which provide unprecedentedly high photon intensities at short wave lengths including the X-ray-regime. We performed several experiments at the two German facilities, i.e., FLASH at DESY, Hamburg and the European XFEL, Schenefeld. A dedicated COLTRIMS setup was build in Frankfurt for the Eu-XFEL and is now available as a user-endstation at the SQS-instrument for experiments. Please select from the topics below.
